Nestled in the green and secluded suburb of Highlands, Wavell House opened as a guest lodge in 2012. Centrally located, we offer the ideal location for business visitors and anyone needing the luxury of peaceful place to stay. The property is a family home which was extended with two separate spacious apartments set in an expansive garden of indigenous trees and rolling lawns. Modern style rooms, each with large ensuite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchens, have their own entrances on to outdoor living areas.

“Once in a while you come across an owner run and managed establishment that has all the normal things we expect like clean well-kept buildings, sparkling pool, manicured gardens, comfortable rooms, well presented food, but, then on top of that is a hidden extra that is hard to define... it's that tingle in the air, a heightening of senses that leaves you feeling pampered, some would call it atmosphere, whatever way you want to put it, Wavell House has it.”

The beautiful gardens and a dip in the inviting & refreshing swimming pool followed by a simple but divine meal, puts every weary soul at ease. The spacious rooms cater for all possible needs but nothing compares to sitting on the veranda overlooking the seemingly endless garden where some well-behaved four legged furry friends play around, whilst sipping on a refreshing drink.
